Elizabeth, Jeb, Santiago
We are running to be your Senior Class Co-Presidents. Throughout our time at Caltech, we have been dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive community, ensuring that our collective experience is both memorable and fulfilling. We have made it a point to integrate ourselves as large part of multiple houses and many groups across campus, both academic, social, and other, as our goal as students is to meet, interact with, and celebrate as many diverse individuals as we can. It is with this commitment that we seek your support to serve as your Senior Class Co-Presidents.
From her early days as a Work Frosh in Fleming, Elizabeth embraced the challenge of organizing one of the first campus events post-COVID. This experience taught her the importance of adaptability, innovation, and community spirit—values she will bring to the role of Co-President. Her involvement in sports has further shaped my leadership skills and emphasized the importance of balance. As a team leader, she has learned how to motivate, support, and connect with teammates from diverse backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity and teamwork. Balancing her academic responsibilities with athletic commitments has taught her the importance of time management, dedication, and resilience. Furthermore, her contributions to the Tech this past year have provided her with a platform to engage with and understand the diverse perspectives within our community. This role has enhanced her communication skills and deepened her appreciation for the unique interests and talents that each of us brings to Caltech.
Jeb also began as Page’s Work Frosh and ARC representative, where he quickly found passion in helping students address their academic concerns and give advice to these seeking it. He also has great experience acting as a liaison between faculty and students and relishes in opportunities to continue these efforts. Knowing that our non-academic experiences here are so intertwined with the academic side of things, he is seeking ways to improve academic outcomes with the goal of improving student life outside of the classroom as well.
As your Senior Class Co-Presidents, we are committed to creating a year that is vibrant, inclusive, and unforgettable. We will dedicate our efforts to organizing impactful senior events, engaging campus-wide activities, and facilitate an experience that truly reflects our collective achievements and memories. Our goal is to ensure that every senior feels celebrated and connected during our final year together and that every student on campus is immersed in the unique experience of being part of the Caltech community.

Michael’s bit
Leadership experience — Tech Editor extraordinaire; former Questbridge Chapter President; Admissions Blog Architect; Prank Committee member; CubeSat Club Secretary;
Motivation — I hear your lamentation of the death of Caltech student culture or whatever, and call your bluff. Our class has the connections, resources, and funding effectively at our fingertips… let’s actually make something happen. I want to organize the best Senior Prank of the decade. I want to organize the best Ditch Days (plural – Ditch Day is literally a year-long event!) in institutional memory. We can do it; we just need a good ring-leader. And I can do that!
Jonathan’s bit
Leadership experience — Former ASCIT Secretary, Former ASCIT Treasurer for two years, and Former Tech Business Manager;
Motivation — Covid has killed ditch day and it’s been slow to be revived. I want to make sure that ditch day is revived and in full swing like it has in the past! I’ve also helped plan ASCT formal for two years and will be helping again this upcoming year. I believe that this experience shows that our ticket has the experience to oversee our senior trip next year and to be able to make it accessible.
Max’s bit
Leadership experience — Parsec President of 2 years and Blacker Head Waiter
Motivation — 2 main motivations: avoid mistakes of seniors of old (stack scheduling mistakes, lack of knowledge of campus spaces), and work with admin to enable us to go and do things we’ve only heard tales of (from ditch day to pranks to senior trips). This ticket believes in its mission, has extensive history working with admin, and has the tools and knowledge to make it happen, let’s make senior year great.
Sascha and Sophie
Hey y’all, I’m Sascha Goldsmith, a MechE in Blacker and I’m running for Senior Class Co-President. Currently, I am involved in Cube Sat Club as the mechanical lead, and the President/founder of the Arts Guild Club (maybe you’ve come to one of our Wine and Cheese art nights :) [insert x3 eyes emojies]), and consider myself a relatively active member in campus life. As a representative of the Senior Class, I will work to ensure that our collective interests regarding Ditch Day approvals and stacks, in addition to a realll Senior Prank (no tea no shade), AND the most epic Senior Trip ever, get organized and completed in a timely and effective way. If you have any suggestions or questions for me, feel free to reach out on email, messenger, or whatever platform you know me on. My goal is to make sure that I can represent each of the diverse groups on campus be a bridge in presenting their interests to administrators.
Hey y’all, I’m Sophie Polidoro, a MechE from Avery house and I’m running for Senior Class Co-President. Throughout my time at Caltech, I’ve enjoyed my involvement in groups like Caltech Ballet (where I’ve enjoyed performing in the dance show), Engineers Without Borders where I currently serve as secretary, Cube Sat Club’s mechanical team, and most recently as vice president for the Arts Guild Club. My hope is to have an open dialogue and be able to incorporate a variety of perspectives from students across campus and work on ways to make sure everyone feels heard and included in decisions pertaining to the senior class!
Ramzi
Hi everyone!! My name is Ramzi Saber, the current Ricketts president and guitarist for the CalTech Band AETHER! I’m super honored to be nominated for this position and more so grateful to have the opportunity to represent and help my class! I make it a passion and investment of mine to be there for people and help in any way I can — that has always been a priority for me. For context, I was senior class president for my high school during peak Covid era. Therefore we had every event canceled. However, during my campaign I made a promise that we will have events that people enjoy, and memories that would last forever — so I decided to go above and beyond. I partnered up with the mayor of my city and board of education to reserve large outside halls, parks, and fields to host events and even senior prom! For our junior prom, everyone complained how lame it was because it was always hosted in the gymnasium. So I reached out to a yacht company and reserved our junior prom to be held there, while also negotiating to reduce the price from 120$ to 40$. I can go on and on about what I can do and what I have done, but I would rather make my intentions clear. I’m very persistent when it comes to making sure people have a good time and make great memories — and I want to do that for the people around me and in my class. We are a small school, and I’m grateful for the fact that there is a possibility to communicate with all of you and hear what you all have to say. No amount of words can express how much it would mean to me to represent you all — but what I can say is that being able to help and represent you all would be at the top of my priorities — as with any leadership position I have. I also want to use this platform to thank all of those who had the chance to get to know me and those who I created wonderful memories here with. It’s a stressful school, and a difficult environment at times, but I’ve always strived to be someone that people can look to for an escape and sense of joy. It’s Rachael Kim, Sam Small, and Evan Zhang here – your dynamic trio of candidates for senior class president! We’re on a mission to make our final year at college an epic experience that’ll leave us with memories to last a lifetime.
What makes us the perfect team for the job? Well, we’ve been besties since forever, so we know how to work together seamlessly and have a blast doing it. But more importantly, we’re event experts with a talent for turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures.
Just imagine – senior week activities that’ll blow your mind, a graduation ceremony that’ll go down in history, and a non-stop schedule of unforgettable experiences in between. We’re creative wizards with ideas galore, from innovative fundraisers (dunk tank, anyone?) to mind-blowing campus events that’ll keep the good times rolling all year long.
But it’s not just about the parties (although let’s be real, we’re the life of the party). It’s about fostering an inclusive, positive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and excited to be a part of the Class of 2025. We’ll spread positive vibes and make sure our senior year is the best one yet – a year you’ll look back on with a huge smile on your face.
